Former Corrie star Georgia May Foote took to her Instagram story on Friday to talk about dealing with anxiety.
The star, who took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2015, told her fans that her anxiety “this year has been awful and quite unbearable.”
Speaking from her bed, which she calls her “happy place,” Georgia, 27, said: “I spoke about the fact that my anxiety was killing me [recently] and the word is used quite loosely.”

“People don’t really take you seriously these days when you say you’re suffering from anxiety because a lot of people say they have it,” she continued.
“I’ve always been quite an anxious person but this year has been awful, quite unbearable.”
Georgia went on to say that the disorder can make people feel like “everything is too much” sometimes.
“[Anxiety] is really serious,” she told her fans. “I myself suffer from anxiety at the moment.”
The brunette beauty insisted that she’s okay, though, because she has “good friends and family” and she’s learnt “a lot of ways to cope with it”.
“I didn’t sleep well last night because of my anxiety,” she admitted. “So, now I’m going to have a cup of tea and watch some Jezza.”
Ending her chat, Georgia urged her followers to “get the support around you” and to “give people a break,” before thanking her fans for their supportive messages.
Georgia, who played Katy Armstrong in Corrie, shared a black-and-white photo of herself looking downcast earlier this month.
Alongside the snap, she shared a cryptic message saying: “I have the busiest day and my anxiety is killing me today. People can be so mean.”
And just a few weeks ago, Georgia reportedly split from her model beau George Alsford.
