His relationship survived the “Strictly curse” during his time on the dance show but now Judge Rinder is reportedly separating from his partner of 11 years.
The TV star and his husband Seth Cummings are said to have called time on their relationship four years after they were married in Ibiza in a civil ceremony conducted by Judge Rinder’s friend Benedict Cumberbatch.
The Sun broke the sad news today in the paper where the criminal barrister, whose real name is Robert Rinder, writes a legal column.
Their source said: “It’s very sad news but Rob is separating from his partner of 11-and-a-half-years.
“He’s very upset about the situation, but the split is amicable and no one else is involved.”
They added that the reality star will not comment on the matter.
“Rob has never spoken about his relationship and nothing will change on that front.
“He very much wants to focus on his work, including Judge Rinder on ITV which he absolutely adores,” they said.

The 39-year-old had been with Seth, a barrister who was once a political adviser to former Chancellor George Osborne, since 2006.
In 2013, they asked Judge Rinder’s old university pal Benedict to officiate their civil partnership ceremony after he gained a ministerial ordination online.
The Sherlock actor later spoke of what a wonder day it was.
“It’s a very private, lovely thing to be asked to do,” he said.
He later returned the honour by asking Judge Rinder to be one of his best men when he married Sophie Hunter in 2015.

Judge Rinder appeared on Strictly in 2016 where he finished fifth with professional partner Oksana Platero.
He’s not the only star of that series to go through a break-up since the show, as Louise Redknapp has also famously divorced her husband Jamie.
