Faye Tozer has beaten the Strictly Come Dancing curse – insisting her marriage is “solid”.
The Steps singer has been married to hubby Michael Smith for nine years and says she takes rumours about their relationship “with a pinch of salt”, because they are “fine” and couldn’t stop talking to one another while she was rehearsing for the show.

She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Me and Michael are solid. Me and Michael were on the phone all the time.
“As long as we know we’re fine, that’s all that matters.”
It follows the Strictly Curse striking more than once this series.
Then pictures emerged of Faye and her dance partner Giovanni Pernice, 28, enjoying lunch last month.
The pair joked about the rumours, laughing them off with a hilarious spoof video.
The Italian pro dancer shared a video on Instagram, showing him and Faye enjoying a mock-romantic moment over dinner.
In the clip, he reaches across a table to remove some salad from her face, before turning to the camera to say what sounds like: “Now we’re having an affair!”
The dancer – who has reportedly been on a few dates with Strictly favourite, former Pussycat Dolls Ashley Roberts – captioned it simply: “No comment @fayetozersmith!!”

Last month, Faye admitted things had been “tricky” with her husband of nine years, IT Consultant Michael Smith.
Speaking to The Sun, Faye said: “It’s always tricky being away from home. You just have to keep your head above water. We’ve just got to keep really tight as a family unit and make sure we communicate — I think that’s the only way.
“But it is tough being away from home because we miss each other.”
Speaking about those pictures of her dance partner touching her face during lunch, the 43-year-old added: “It was my birthday — it was the first time Giovanni actually took me out for lunch, bless him.”
