Susan Boyle under attack from vile gang of youths in her home town

The BGT super-success story has been subjected to a whole host of horrible bullying

| Updated:

Susan Boyle may have become an international mega star but she has stayed living in her old house in the small village of Blackburn, West Lothian in Scotland.

But while most of her neighbours are her close friends, some locals have been making her life a misery, abusing and attacking her when she goes outside.

They have thrown stones at her on the bus and pelted Susan with whatever they could find as she cowered on the street.

At her local shopping centre, the gang shouted offensive names at her, The Sun reports.

Witnesses described how the attacks had at times become even more terrifying too.

One told The Mirror: “We were inside the bus and they were throwing stones, screaming and shouting things.

“Another time 10-15 of them were surrounding and throwing stuff.

“They lit a piece of paper and threw it at her face.

“Then I was going inside the Mill Centre, Susan was walking out and they were all standing at the entrance and they said to her, ‘Why don’t you get yourself a pair of glasses you ugly, old [expletive].’ It’s horrendous.”

The abuse has got so bad that a spokesman says they are planning to call in the police to deal with the attackers.

The gang, between the ages of 16 and 18, are known locally and have also – reportedly – been seen behaving badly towards other neighbours too.

Susan bought her house – which she has lived in since childhood – after she came runner-up (but essentially the winner if we’re measuring on column inches and success and general awesomeness) in Britain’s Got Talent in 2009.

She did buy a fancy ‘posh house’ up the road but couldn’t get comfortable there so gave it to her niece. We’re just going to insert the heart emoji here because it best sums up our feelings, thanks ❤️.
