Susanna Reid has taken to social media to explain the ‘bruise’ on her cheek.
Earlier this week, some Good Morning Britain viewers contacted Susanna on Twitter to ask if she was bruised after noticing a mark on her cheek.
However, on Wednesday, Susanna cleared things up and insisted she hasn’t bruised her face, it’s just her birthmark!

She shared a close-up photo of her birthmark to Twitter alongside the caption: “People keep asking if I’m bruised – but it is my birthmark (pregnancy chloasma).”
Fans were quick to respond to Susanna’s post and many didn’t notice her birthmark.
One person wrote: “Barely visible. Just a lovely eye on a beautiful lady!” while another said: “All I can see if a beautiful eye.”
Another said: “People thought that was a bruise?! People are morons,” followed by a laughing face emoji.
During Tuesday’s show, Susanna opened up about her birthmark.
She said: “Yesterday people were very concerned that I had a bruise on my face. But it’s not a bruise, it’s a birthmark. That’s my birthmark. Do not be concerned about me.”
Meanwhile on Wednesday’s show, Susanna had a slight beauty blunder as she ran out of time to finish painting her nails before the start of the show.
The telly fave showed off one of her hands, which had red nails to match her dress, and the other which was unpainted.

Piers asked Susanna: “Show us your hands,” as Susanna flashed her nails to the camera.
She said: “Sorry about that. Not quite ready.”
Later in the show, Susanna’s unpainted hand had red nails suggesting she had finished them during a break.
