Tesco’s Christmas 2019 food range includes turkey and stuffing crisps

Anyone fancy a sausage roll-flavoured puff?

It is beginning to taste a lot like Christmas as the supermarkets start to fill the aisles with seasonal party food.

And it looks like Tesco shoppers will enjoy all the trimmings in lip-licking fashion after a food blogger revealed some extraordinary crisp flavours set to be stocked by the retailer.

According to Instagram user NewFoodsUK, Sausage Roll Flavour Puffs and Turkey & Stuffing Bites will be launched in shops this week.

They are expected to cost £1.50 a bag.

Also thought to be part of the supermarket’s festive food range are Pigs in Blankets crisps, Apple Flavour Tortilla Curls and Santa & Gingerbread Men.

Comments left on the post by eager eaters suggest Tesco’s treats will be echoing the Christmas carol and bringing Joy to the World.

“Love the sound of turkey and stuffing bites,” gushed one social media user.

“Living for the Christmas food,” remarked another.

A third thrilled person exclaimed: “Omg these look delicious!”

And another predicted: “We is getting fat this Xmas. (sic)”

However, not everyone has been bowled over by the festive snacks.

One consumer complained: “I found the sausage roll puffs too strong in flavour and threw half the bag away.”

In other Christmas grub news, M&S have unveiled their full range and Aldi have got customers’ mouths watering by offering pigs in blankets featuring halloumi.

Baileys have also ensured Christmas has come early by launching a new salted caramel flavour.
