The Queen was pictured popping into Sainsbury’s on Wednesday – but she wasn’t doing her weekly shop.
Her Majesty visited a pop-up replica of the original Sainsbury’s shop, which was opened on London’s Drury Lane in 1869.
The 93-year-old looked stunning in a teal coat, matching hat and a black handbag as she waved to crowds while arriving at the store.

In a video shared by ITV News royal editor Chris Ship, the Queen is seen being shown the shop’s self-checkout.
Explaining that customers can now shop by scanning items through their phones, a member of staff told Her Majesty: “So they can walk around the store using the camera on their phone to scan the barcodes.
“Then using payment information that’s already been stored on their phone to complete the transaction.”
The Queen then asked: “And you can’t trick it? You can’t cheat?”

‘And you can’t trick it? You can’t cheat?’ said the shopper.

The employee replied: “Well, you always can cheat but with the weighing scales we’ve got, that should prevent items from being undetected.”
The post was captioned: “93-year old shopper goes to @sainsburys and asks if you can ‘trick’ the self-service checkouts.

Fans loved seeing the Queen and were amused by her question.
One person said: “I laughed so hard watching this,” while another wrote: “Lovely. God bless Her Majesty.”
A third joked: “Do you think she’s planning a bit of shopping and ‘trying to cheat’?!”
On Monday, the Queen was pictured visiting the Duchess of Cambridge’s woodland garden at the Chelsea Flower Show.
Her Majesty wore the same lime green coat and floral dress she wore at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in May last year.
She smiled happily as she was shown around the garden, which was designed to promote the wellbeing benefits of getting outdoors.
