If you’ve ever fancied working for Her Majesty the Queen, here is your chance.
The monarch is advertising for a trainee butler to work at Buckingham Palace.
However, the only problem is, the role won’t exactly make you rich.

With an annual salary of just £20,806, you’ll be expected to work for 45 hours a week, spread over seven days.
The rate equates to just £8.96 per hour.

However, it sounds like a great role for a first job as applicants don’t need to have any former hospitality experience.

The trainee butler will look after guests at the royal residence, at events ranging from small functions to state banquets.

“Learning from our experienced team, you’ll deliver a hospitality service to the highest standard. You’ll deliver functions of all scales, from official lunches and receptions, to state occasions, providing an exceptional guest experience for all,” the job ad reads.
There are some serious benefits to the job, not least the fact that accommodation is included with the role.

So you’ll get to live out all your prince or princess fantasies as you actually move into Buckingham Palace.
The successful applicant will also enjoy 33 days holiday every year and a 15 per cent employer contribution pension scheme.
All your food will also be included.
Twitter users seemed keen on applying for the post – despite the low pay.

Having Buckingham Palace as your address and living accommodation with all the benefits may be an additional incentive.
