With 22 kids, it’s fair to say Christmas isn’t plain sailing for Sue and Noel Radford.

The parents, from Lancashire, have over 20 children to deal with on a daily basis. As a result, it’s pretty easy to imagine their Christmas time as being complete chaos!

However, it turns out Noel and Sue – who are back on screens this weekend on Saturday (December 14) for their TV show 22 Kids and Counting – have somehow managed to make it look like a total breeze…

How does Sue and Noel Radford celebrate Christmas?

Despite having 22 children, the family famously doesn’t claim a single benefit. Instead, they manage to live entirely off of Noel and Sue’s bakery business.

“We save for it over the year, putting money away in an account. I do supermarket savings stamps for the food shop too,” she said previously.

According to the family, they spend up to £200 on each of their children. So that’s a massive £5,000 to save every year!

In a recent YouTube vlog, the 22 Kids and Counting stars kickstarted their festive celebrations by decorating their home.

All the family helped out in the kitchen and dining area, they put together a giant Christmas tree covered head-to-toe in decorations. Over in the living room, the family opted for another incredible tree, as well as the 22 family stockings.

And the festiveness doesn’t stop there, as each bedroom has its own tree, decked out in lights and baubles.

The Radford’s Christmas Dinner

With over 20 mouths to feed, Christmas Day is not exactly smooth for Sue and Noel Radford.

Noel’s in charge of cooking, but Sue is tasked to prepare it all. She also does the huge supermarket shop, buying around 120 pigs in blankets, 10k of potatoes and 60 Yorkshire puddings.

It’s been reported their total bill comes to around £400 – but that’s before they’ve forked out for the meat to feed their guests and family members!

Watch the Radford family on 22 Kids and Counting on Saturday (December 14) at 9:15am on Channel 5.
