Wayne and Coleen Rooney have been reportedly trying to get their marriage back on track following his drink-driving conviction.
But according to The Sun, that’s easier said than done after they had a row while watching hit BBC drama Doctor Foster.
Apparently the couple settled down to a peaceful evening in front of the telly, but the show sparked a huge row between the pair.
A source told the paper: “Wayne and Coleen have both been through a lot in recent weeks and the atmosphere at home has been tense.
“They were trying to have a quiet night in and were just watching Doctor Foster like millions of other couples.
“But something to do with the storyline sparked a big row between them so they ended up switching it off.
“It’s probably not the best programme for them to be watching at the moment given the circumstances of Wayne’s arrest.”
Perhaps it’s time we gave them a break, eh?

Desperate Wayne reportedly stepped up his charm offensive in an effort to recapture the magic in his marriage to wife Coleen last week by taking her to the cinema.
According to The Sun the Everton football ace has been taking Coleen, who’s pregnant with the couple’s fourth child, out on the town on secret dates specially chosen to remind her of the good times they’ve shared.
And he wooed her with a trip to the cinema where they went on their first date – which was a trip to see Austin Powers, back when the pair were still at school.
They were reportedly seen at the cinema on a family outing a couple of weekends ago and someone who saw them later tweeted: “Hi @ColeenRoo and @WayneRooney, lovely meeting you yesterday, sorry baby was such a grump.”
A source told The Sun: “Coleen is still really angry with Wayne, so he’s pretty quiet at home and keeping his head down.
“But he has been gently trying to show how much he loves her by taking her out on the quiet, so they have been to the cinema together, which is something they really enjoy doing.”
They added that Wayne is hoping everything will be “back to normal by Christmas.”
Coleen is said to still be angry with her husband after his drink driving antics. And the fact that Wayne was driving another woman’s car – with her in the passenger seat – when he was arrested isn’t helping her get over the whole thing.
Wayne was arrested for drink driving on September 1, and pleaded guilty to the charges at Stockport Magistrates Court on September 18.

He was sentenced to a two-year driving ban, and a 12-month community order with 120 hours of unpaid work. And he was also said to be fined two weeks’ wages by his club, Everton FC – which is thought to be about £300,000.
“I want to apologise to all the fans and everyone else who has followed and supported me throughout my career,” Wayne said in a statement.
