Queen Elizabeth has been paying her respects to the Armed Forces ahead of Remembrance Sunday (November 10).
The Royal Family has shared what one fan called a “glorious picture” of The Queen walking through a sea of red poppies.

Alongside the striking photograph, the official Twitter page said: “Every year The Queen and other members of the Royal Family undertake engagements focused on the Armed Forces in the lead up to Remembrance Sunday. #RemembranceDay #WeWillRememberThem.”

A second tweet went on to elaborate, adding: “This time of year provides an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made by service personnel in conflicts around the world and to ensure that members of the Armed Forces and veterans are cared for.”

The Queen was pictured arriving in Kent today to tour facilities designed to support Armed Forces veterans and their families.
Schoolchildren and other members of the public lined the streets at the Royal British Legion Industries Centenary Village in Aylesford, Kent, eager for a glimpse of the UK’s longest reigning monarch.
Elizabeth, wearing a long coat of deep purple and matching hat, waved to the crowds as she got out of her limousine for the visit ahead of Remembrance Sunday.
