Ah, there’s nothing we like better than speculating about who’s signed up for televisual dance extravaganza Strictly Come Dancing so we were delighted when Casualty actor Jason Durr hinted that he might be donning the sequins later this year.
Jason, who plays Nurse David Hyde in the long-running BBC drama, recently impressed viewers with a cheeky little salsa dancing in the hit medical show.

David turned into Twinkletoes in scenes where Duffy and Charlie returned from their honeymoon.
Speaking about Strictly, Jason said: ““It’s a massive Saturday-night show, just like Casualty, so I’m sure it would be huge fun to do.”
He then added: “You’ll have to watch this space.”
Jason has been retweeting fans calling for him to take part in Strictly. Is that a massive hint, or is he trying to convince producers that he’s got his dancing shoes ready?

A source for SCD said: “The line-up hasn’t been confirmed yet but Jason would be a great choice.
“He has the looks and he’s certainly up for getting stuck in with the show.”
Earlier this week footballer Jermaine Defoe admitted he’d like to take part on the show.
He told football magazine Four Four Two: “I competed in street dance competitions with my mate.
“I remember being really nervous for one as we had to perform in front of all the girls, too.
“We ended up winning and I’ve still got the medals at my mum’s. I’d never go into the jungle and do I’m a Celebrity but I’d love to do Strictly Come Dancing.”
