Wednesday’s This Morning topic, “to shave or not to shave”, has sent viewers into a complete meltdown.
Former WAG Lizzie Cundy and feminist Kate Smurthwaite were on the show to debate whether women should shave their armpits.
And let’s just say the discussion has definitely caused a mixed reaction among fans!

Many viewers were quick to praise Kate, who believes there is nothing wrong with not shaving, for “encouraging” women to do what they please.
One fan wrote on Twitter: “I rarely ever shave. Why should my body’s natural state be seen as wrong by society?! It’s how humans are designed! #thismorning [sic].”
“I praise the lady with hairy armpits because she’s not living up to the expectations of what women’s bodies “should” look like #ThisMorning,” another said.
A third ranted: “The discussion with regards to women not shaving on #ThisMorning is about whether men find it attractive or not? TOTALLY missing the point.”
Another agreed: “Can’t believe there’s just been a debate about women shaving #ThisMorning! How about we just let women do what they want with their bodies?”
Activist Kate revealed she hasn’t shaved her armpits in five years, a fact which left some viewers “disgusted”.
Speaking to hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, Kate revealed: “I don’t want women to feel like there’s something wrong with their natural body.”

But during the controversial chat Lizzie, who confessed to carrying around a razor with her at all times, admitted: “It makes me feel quite queasy. I do think it’s unattractive.
“I think most men and women don’t like underarm hair.”
And many were quick to side with the 46-year-old.
