This Morning’s medical expert Dr Ranj Singh is the latest famous face to have reportedly signed up to this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
The star is known for being a regular on the daytime show as well as being a presenter on CBeebies’ Get Well Soon.
According to The Sun, Ranj is said to have been chosen by Strictly bosses because he’s a “housewives’ favourite on ITV daytime”.

A source told the publication: “He’s a housewives’ favourite on ITV daytime so he’s sure to have big support when he takes to the dancefloor.”
ED! has contacted Ranj’s rep for comment.
The full line-up for the competition is yet to be announced, but names will start to be released on Monday, August 13.
There are a string of big names rumoured to be taking to the dance floor this series.
On Thursday, Pussycat Dolls star and former I’m A Celebrity contestant Ashley Roberts was rumoured to have also signed up.
A source told The Sun: “Ashley was a no brainer for the bookers. She’s sexy and sassy and has a bit about her.”
It was also reported that former EastEnders actor and Blue singer Lee Ryan is getting his dancing shoes ready.
An insider told the Mirror: “Lee will make great TV – he’s naturally charismatic and very funny.”
Meanwhile, BBC newsreader Kate Silverton is another big name rumoured to have signed up this week.
The Sun claimed BBC bosses have been trying to persuade Kate to do the show for 12 years but she’s always “put her career and family above everything”.
However, now she’s apparently taking up their offer to do the programme.
YouTuber Joe Sugg, who is the brother of internet sensation Zoella, is another name rumoured to be competing.
Other names linked to the show are ex-I’m A Celebrity champion Scarlett Moffatt, Coronation Street’s Catherine Tyldesley, Capital FM radio host Vick Hope and 80s television presenter Anneka Rice.
The brand new series begins this autumn.
