This Morning viewers concerned as model trips over live on air

We've all been there!

This Morning viewers have expressed their concern after a model tripped over during the show’s fashion segment.

Rochelle Humes was telling hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby all about the latest autumn trends, with model Jade showcasing one look on the runway.

Jade looked incredible as she modelled a burnt orange geo print satin maxi dress from Pretty Little Thing with a pair of nude heels and a clear bag.

As Jade walked out onto the catwalk, Rochelle explained that the This Morning fashion team had been quickly taking up Jade’s dress minutes before she was due on air.

Jade strutted her stuff in the stunning dress but then was caught on camera tripping at the end of the catwalk. We’ve all been there, right?!

Rochelle, Holly and Phil were quick to make sure Jade was okay while viewers watching from home took to Twitter to also express their concern.

One person said: “Hope the model who fell is OK.”

Another wrote: “Poor Jade. Her trip was a tad funny but I hope she’s OK,” while a third added: “That poor lady! Looks amazing then trips.. exactly what I would do.”

One Twitter user said: “Someone should have mentioned there was a step at the end of the catwalk.”

Following Jade’s fall, Rochelle continued with her fashion segment and introduced the next model, who was wearing an outfit inspired by Holly herself.

This wasn’t the only segment on the show that got viewers talking.

Earlier, a debate was held about whether cats should be banned after a small village in New Zealand sparked a national debate as it wants to ban cats altogether because of the threat to the local bird population.

Holly and Phil spoke with journalist Sally Jones, who is all for the proposal, and local reporter Dave Goosselink, live from NZ.

Sally said: “Perhaps not the entire ban, but what I would like to see is cats prevented from killing birds and small animals that they do.”

She suggested that cats should be kept inside and said feral cats should be rehomed or microchipped.

Sally called cats “beautiful” but “natural born killers”.

Viewers were divided over the discussion with some agreeing with Sally while others branded the proposal “ridiculous”.
