Ben Shephard and Mollie King took over hosting duties on Friday’s edition of This Morning.
While Good Morning Britain presenter Ben, 43, has hosted the daytime show before, today was a first for former The Saturdays singer and Strictly Come Dancing star Mollie.
As the duo opened the show, Mollie admitted she was feeling very nervous about the stint.

Ben told Mollie: “I’m really thrilled and excited to be here because this is your first one, isn’t it?”
Mollie, 31, replied: “It is. I’m very nervous, so good luck to you really. [I’ve done live TV before] but nothing really like this.”
Ben asked: “You ready for it?” to which Mollie said: “I think I’m ready but I’m absolutely terrified.”
Putting his arm around the star, Ben added: “You’ll be wonderful. Lots of support from everybody at home today.”
Despite being nervous, many viewers took to Twitter to praise Mollie’s efforts.
One person begged the show to bring Mollie back.
They wrote: “Really enjoyed watching #ThisMorning with Mollie and Ben presenting. Mollie you have smashed it, so proud of you! @thismorning please bring @MollieKing back again.”
Others gushed over the pair’s great chemistry.
Another said: “#thismorning loving Mollie and Ben this morning so funny together need them back.”
One viewer described Mollie as “a natural” and said she’s “proving to be such a talent as a presenter”.
But not everyone was keen on the duo, with a few users venting about the pair on Twitter.
One person said: “This Morning has totally lost the plot with its presenters. Ben talks way too much. Sick of reality wannabes. I’ll only watch Eamonn [Holmes] and Ruth [Langsford].”
Another ranted: “How on earth did Mollie King get the job to present #ThisMorning today? She might be the blandest ‘pop star’ ever.”

Earlier this week, viewers watched style expert Gok Wan and Rylan Clark-Neal team up to host the show.
Rylan also co-hosted with former Strictly star Lisa Snowdown on Tuesday.
The show’s usual Monday to Thursday hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are currently enjoying a six-week summer break with their families.
Eamonn and Ruth, who usually host the show every Friday, have been standing in for the pair since late July.
However, the husband-and-wife duo have been off this week because Eamonn’s eldest son, Declan, got married to his partner Jenny in Ireland on Wednesday.
