This Morning viewers were left feeling emotional after an incredibly heartwarming story.
A homeless man who offered his coat and his duvet to a couple who’d missed their last train home after a night out has had his life transformed.
Charlotte Ellis and boyfriend Taylor Walden, both 22, were stranded in the freezing temperatures when they met kind-hearted homeless man Joey.

Seeing them shivering, Joey said to Charlotte: “You can borrow my coat and duvet if you want? It’s a long wait and it’s freezing tonight.”
They were so touched by his generosity that they invited Joey back to Charlotte’s home in Essex.
Speaking to hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, Charlotte said: “After the first night, it wasn’t Joey the homeless guy, it was Joey our friend.”
Joey stayed with the couple for five days, where he joined Charlotte’s friends for a curry, football and other events.

They also took him for a haircut, gave him a mobile phone and a new wardrobe.
After that time Joey was able to find a job and now has a place to stay, with Charlotte’s friends Jenni Kiri and Bradley Munro.
Joey, who also appeared on the show, said: “It’s been a completely new experience for me. To get work from friends, it’s all been life-changing.

“I’m training to be a tree surgeon with Rylan’s landscaping and gardening, they’ve been fantastic.
“It’s just so uplifting to meet such amazing people, and their friends and families.”
The group of friends are also currently in the process of helping Joey to get his passport, birth certificate and driving licence.

Phillip and Holly agreed it was nice to hear such a happy story, “considering how much bad news there’s been recently”.
Those watching at home also loved the story.
