Trouble could be brewing at ITV head office after This Morning viewers went on a rampage about the show’s new presenters.
On Friday, we saw Dr Ranj Singh and Vanessa Feltz taking up residence on the iconic sofa.
They’re covering Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, who usually host This Morning on a Friday.
Instead, Ruth and Eamonn are working Monday to Thursday, covering Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield who have taken the summer off.
But not everyone was best pleased with the replacement hosts.
Fans flocked to social media to moan: “@thismorning Please bring Holly and Phil back!! No offence but Dr Ranj really should stick to being a doctor and Vanessa -TV presenting – not your strong point!! 🙄.”
Another wrote: “@thismorning Dr Ranj & Vanessa Feltz are the most abysmal presenters. It’s all sounds so fake and acted :/”.
A third said: “Vanessa dreadful to watch.”
But not everyone agreed. In fact, many others loved the pairing, tweeting: “Wonderful! Ranj and Vanessa make a brilliant duo ❤❤❤❤”.
Another added: “Loving Vanessa & Dr Ranj on This Morning. Let’s see more of this duo, please !”
A third wrote: “What a great pairing Vanessa & Dr Ranj. The test is making the viewer comfortable and they are and this is their 1st time. Love Vanessa she is super intelligent warm and funny as is Dr Ranj. #thismorning”.

Whether you loved or hated them, it was a busy show for the sofa-newbies.
Ranj and Vanessa interviewed Emmerdale actor Matthew Wolfenden about working alongside his real-life wife, Charley Webb, who plays Debbie Dingle.
He also spoke about David’s shock at finding out Tracy is pregnant in Wednesday night’s episode.
The show also featured a controversial segment on whether it’s OK to drug your children on planes, as well as a real life story with a woman whose fiancé duped her out of £1.2million.
Earlier today, Ranj tweeted about how excited he was about his new job.
It comes after the doctor – who has been a regular guest expert on the show – revealed the news on Wednesday.
He tweeted: “Can’t wait to go-host with the gorgeous @VanessaOnAir tomorrow… @thismorning won’t know what hit them!!! 🤣”.
