One is a multi-million-selling chart-topping pop star, the other is a toddler from Exeter.
But Ed Sheeran – this nipper is the shape of you.
The red-headed singer is famous for his many doppelgängers, whether it’s Prince Harry or any random fiery-haired young man who is happy to pretend to be Ed’s lookalike and get close to female fans!
But two-year-old Isla Watson is being heralded as The Shape of You singer’s best lookalike yet.
And the cute toddler loves Ed’s music too, and regularly sings and dances along to his tracks.
Isla’s Aunt Stacey told The Sun Online that the family first noticed the resemblance a while ago – and that strangers in the street even stop them to comment on the remarkable resemblance.
“Everyone comments saying how she’s a mini Ed, and I call her baby Sheeran,” she said.
“She loves his music, tries to sing along to the words and has a dance.”
For another of Ed’s lookalikes, Ty Jones from Sale in Manchester, bearing such a similarity to the award-winning star has proved more of a problem.
The 21-year-old says he was constantly being approached by fans, felt like he couldn’t leave the house without being followed and that it was ruining his love life.
“When Ed became really famous I had people always coming up to me and talking to me and wanting my picture – it was crazy,” Ty told The Sun last year.
“He’s such a big artist and I’m a massive fan of his but now it’s like I can’t escape it, people go mad when they think they’re meeting Ed Sheeran.
“It’s made my relationships worse I’d say because now I have to weigh up if they like me for me or are they’re just interested in me because I’m the next best thing to Ed if they really like him.
“And when girls ask me for pictures in the streets it’s annoyed some of my girlfriends in the past and caused problems.”
Ty, who works as a barman and at Mecca Bingo, did admit that looking like Ed has its positive sides too – being invited to parties, getting VIP entrance into clubs and being asked to join the Channel 4 series Lookalikes.
Plus he got to meet the man himself.
“Meeting Ed has been the highlight in all of this, he was so down to earth and just so shocked at how much I looked like him, it was really funny.”
