“The most magical moment of my life. The amount of love and joy you have brought into our life is immeasurable. Our precious son.”
Meanwhile, Dustin took to Instagram to share a black-and-white photo of him and Tom cradling their baby boy.
He wrote: “Welcome to the world little Robbie Ray. Thank you for bringing so much love and light with you.
“And thank you to those who helped make our dream of having a family into this wonderful reality.”
Fans are over the moon for the couple.
One person wrote: “Congratulations to you both, those tiny toes are scrumptious.”
Another gushed: “Congratulations!! I am so happy for you!”
The pair have chosen to name their son after Tom’s late dad Robert, who passed away in 2011 of a brain tumour.
In February, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together via surrogate.
Tom shared a snap which showed the couple holding a baby scan picture towards the camera.
He made no reference to the baby news in his caption, instead simply saying: “HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!”
Dustin shared a similar image to his own Instagram with the caption: “A very happy Valentine’s Day from ours to yours.”
Just a month later, the couple revealed they were expecting a little boy.
During a chat with Fearne Cotton on her Happy Place podcast, they announced their baby’s gender.
Meanwhile, Tom opened up about receiving criticism for having a child via surrogate.
He told The Times in April: “There are lots of people in this world that can’t have kids, whether it’s due to fertility issues, whatever it may be.
“I don’t think there would be as much drama if it was a straight couple.”
Tom also revealed both he and Dustin provided sperm to fertilise their surrogate’s eggs.
He said: “We found an egg donor and we are the sperm donors, we have fertilised half the eggs each.
“We put in a boy embryo and a girl embryo and we don’t know whose is whose.

Tom, who won a bronze medal in the 10m men’s diving at London 2012, became engaged to Dustin in October 2015.
They married at Bovey Castle Hotel in Devon last year.
Congratulations to Tom and Dustin!
