With just a couple of days to go before Tom Daley ties the knot with his boyfriend Dustin Lance Black, it has emerged the celebrated diver is in hospital.
The handsome sportsman shared a picture of himself in sitting in a hospital bed, worrying fans about his well being.

In the caption that accompanied the picture, Tom didn’t give too much away and merely teased: “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. #AthleteLife Back on the board soon.”
However, the hashtag “#AthleteLife” might suggest it was an injury sustained at training.
Unsurprisingly his concerned fans inundated his Instagram post with worried messages about his mystery stay in hospital.
One pleaded: “Please tell us what happened to you?”
Another wrote: “Get well soon.”
His mystery hospital stint comes 48 hours before Tom is marry film producer Dustin in front of their close family and friends.
Earlier this year, Tom said that he was really excited about his upcoming big day and was enjoying the preparations.
“I’m in the middle of planning all that with Lance and it’s all been fun! It’s a fun and exciting time…”
However, according to reports, some friends of the couple – if you can actually call them that – fear the pair may be getting hitched too soon, especially after the reports earlier this year that Tom had hooked up with a couple of guys.
“Tom and Lance are determined to go ahead with the wedding,” the snitch told The Sun.
“It’ll be a lovely occasion and they are very excited, but some friends think they might be better taking things slowly after everything they’ve been through.
“It’s been a tough six months for them. They had a bit of a break and have just started to rebuild their relationship.
“Marriage might put extra pressure on them.”
Earlier this year Tom opened up to Attitude magazine about gay men’s views of sex and marriage.
“Its changing because back then marriage wasn’t allowed,” he told the mag.

“So, who knew that you could be looking towards getting married? People growing up now will think there’s no difference. So, in the future they’ll be looking to get married and have a family and be like a straight couple because they are allowed to get married, whereas before it wasn’t permitted, so what was the point?”
He also admitted that in his teens he was preoccupied with sex as he came to terms with being gay.
“Around 16, 17, 18, it was probably mainly sexual,” he said of his feelings toward men. “Then when I met Lance, that was the trigger for thinking I could actually have feelings for someone.”
