Dancing On Ice is set to return to our screens next year for a brand new revamped series.
And our hearts filled with joy after it was announced that Olympic gold medallists Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean would be making a comeback.
But now the two are in talks to join the panel of judges rather than taking up their previous roles of skating coaches.

A source told The Sun: “Torvill and Dean loved their years spent teaching celebrities how to skate but they want to change things up for the new series.
“Now they are in talks to become judges, where they will finally get to have a proper say on what they think about the celebrities taking part.”
They added: “If anyone is qualified to be a judge, it’s them, and it would be a great way to shake up the format and give it a new lease of life.”
Talking about coming back to the ITV show Jayne, 59, said: “I love that it’s coming back, it’s great news – I’m really looking forward to it.
“The show will definitely be refreshed but the basics will be the same, we will still be teaching celebrities how to skate.”
“It was a different sort of platform being in the studio – we like to be creative and come up with new things.
“There’s a new bar to set when the show returns,” she added.

A number of names have been rumoured to being taking part in the new series including Katie Price, CBB star Jamie O’Hara and Michelle Heaton.
Michelle, 37, was the first celeb to say she would be up for getting her skates on while Pricey, 38, was quick to express her desire to be on the show.
Footballer Jamie O’hara, 30, is the latest star to put himself forward for the series.
A source told The Sun’s Bizarre column: “Jamie never expected to do Big Brother and surprised himself by how much he enjoyed it.
“He has heard about the revival of Dancing on Ice and wants to be the first in line for the production.
“Jamie is nimble on his feet and thinks he could make a good go of it.”
Alongside these famous faces, one of X Factor’s most memorable stars Honey G is in talks of appearing on the show.
According to reports the star has been offered £50K to take to the ice.
An insider told The Sun: “Honey G was TV gold on last year’s X Factor so it’s a no-brainer to sign her up for Dancing On Ice.
“She is a huge fan favourite and is loved by the whole family, no matter what their age.”
We can’t wait for the show to return!
