So the reports are true – Chris Clark DID dump Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson by text message, with the dirty deed being carried out on his new squeeze Amber Dowding’s phone. Ouch.
The TOWIE heartthrob dated Jesy earlier this year, but has since re-ignited his romance with Amber, who appears alongside him on the ITV show.
And in a joint interview with The Sun, the two reality stars revealed how Chris went about ending his relationship with the former X Factor contestant while she was on tour in the US.
Speaking on the set of TOWIE’s Marbella special, Amber explained: “It wasn’t my relationship but all I can say on Chris’s behalf is that it wasn’t done in a negative way.
“He wasn’t 100 per cent in the relationship and he had to end it when he ended it, and that was that.
“He didn’t want to do it by phone – it was the only type of contact he had with her at that time. I don’t want him to ever receive a backlash from it.”
Chris added: “It has happened. It has been and gone.”

But fans in Jesy’s camp were up in arms about the revelation, and Twitter erupted with negative comments about Chris.
One follower wrote: “He’s nice……not. Anyway, she can do a lot better.”
Another added: “@ChrisJClark_ @amberdowdingx Maybe don’t speak about it. Have a little class & leave it private like Jessy [sic] has!”
And a third scathed: “Srsly mate, G I V E U P. This is gonna bring you nothing but hate, not the attention you want.”
Chris and Amber broke up in 2016, with the 23-year-old hooking up with Jesy in March of this year.
But the romance was short-lived and before long he was back together with Amber, 24.

Shortly after, the TOWIE beauty insisted that Chris’s fling with Jesy hadn’t troubled her.
She told New! magazine: “I just didn’t look at it. It wasn’t something I lost sleep over.”
And she claimed that she’s nothing like the Little Mix singer: “We’re completely different!” she said. “Our styles and our looks are so different. How can you compare?”
