Some parents might choose to carry a pic of their adored offspring in their wallet, or as the backdrop on their phones.
Others like to go for a more permanent tribute, like this amazing inking former TOWIE star Dan Osborne has had etched on his leg.
Taking to Instagram to upload a pic of his new body art, doting dad Dan thanked his tattoo artist for inking his ‘babies’ on his leg, and revealed he would be back ‘next month’ to get the rest done.

Dan is dad to four-year-old Teddy, who he had with ex partner Megan Tomlin, and soon-to-be three year old Ella, whose mum is EastEnders’ star, Jacqueline Jossa.
Dan’s Instagram followers were quick to admire his latest tat, and the artistic skills of his tattooist.
“That is amazing!” wrote at least half a dozen, while others were wowed by how good the inking’s likeness was to Teddy and Ella.
“So precise!” observed one, while another added: “Omg that tattooist is amazing ..spitting image of your little ones.”
Dan’s body art tribute to his babies came just a few days after he posted an emotional New Year’s message about his love for them, and how he was looking forward to seeing what 2018 had in store for his family.
Sharing a cute pic of him cuddled up to little Ella with Teddy lying alongside them pulling a very typical four-year-old boy pose, Dan wrote:
“As everyone that knows me knows, these 2 munchkins are my world, and how much they have both changed in this year has been crazy, both growing into the most incredible little people on earth. I am so proud of them and the luckiest man on earth to be their daddy. Can not wait to see what next year brings for us all .”

And the new year will indeed be full of changes for the family as mum Jacqueline leaves EastEnders for pastures new.
The loved-up pair tied the knot back in June last year, two years after welcoming little Ella Selina – and Jacqueline herself is no stranger to the tattooist’s needle, having committed her dedication to Dan in ink on her hip last October.
In fact, in a real show of marital trust, it was actually Dan himself who tattooed his wife with the word ‘Always’ at his body art parlour, Paradise, in Kent.
“I have been inked in paradise,” Jacqueline wrote at the time. “Thank you my darling”.
Awwww.
