Chris Clark and Jesy Nelson shared a short romance but the hunk has now revealed what really happened when they rather abruptly ended.
The 22-year-old came under scrutiny from Little Mix fans after breaking up with Jesy after just three months.
Their annoyance wasn’t helped any when TOWIE’s Chris swiftly reconciled with his former girlfriend and fellow reality star Amber Dowding.
Now, he has opened up to OK! magazine about their brief fling and feeling “insecure” about the 25-year-old’s successful career in the superstar girl band.

He said: “Our relationship came at a difficult time, though, because the band were touring America, so we mostly spoke on the phone.
“She was only in my life for about three months. I didn’t understand why she was interested in me – I’m just someone from TOWIE.
“I always felt like second best to Jesy. But that was my issue, not hers.”
Posing for a photo shoot with Amber, the on-again couple said that they are now “stronger than ever” after having some time apart.
It hasn’t been easy for Chris though, as he was accused of using Jesy for publicity after he broke up with her.
Days after their split, he was seen liking Amber’s Instagram photos.
“I’ve been trolled and it’s been tough. Jesy and I ended on good terms, I didn’t use her,” he added.
Chris and Amber are now excited about their future, with Chris admitting that he’s changed a lot over the past year.
“The time apart gave me time to grow up.

“We didn’t talk for nearly eight months and, during that time, I changed a lot and I think I can be a much better boyfriend to Amber this time around.”
Amber has realised they are better together, and said: “We’ve both seen other people but we’ve realised we’re happiest together. We’re stronger than ever.”
