It’s no secret that TOWIE heartthrob Chris Clark and Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson had a thing once, and it was quite a shock when Chris dumped her because we thought they were so loved up!
But what Chris has kept secret until now is that when he split up with the stunning singer, he received death threats and lots of abuse from Jesy’s fans.
Chris broke up with her back in April after a short-lived romance, and told OK! magazine he ‘always felt second best’ in his relationship with Jesy. He added: “Our relationship came at a difficult time, because the band were touring America, so we mostly spoke on the phone.”

So they parted ways and both have gone on to fall in love again with new partners.
But the TOWIE star has now opened up about the backlash he received when the couple split. He told the Daily Star on Sunday: “Those fans are brutal. I still get the odd death threat.”
He added: “The level of abuse has been crazy.”
It’s no wonder Jesy’s fans got pretty angry, as Chris admitted to breaking up with the singer in the worst possible way – over text! And though it does sound harsh, Chris said he didn’t have a choice because she was abroad touring with Little Mix.
He told The Sun at the time: “I was never going to escape it. I had to just deal with it. She was on the other side of the world. I am happier now than I ever have been.”
Shortly after the break up, Chris went back into the arms of his former flame and fellow TOWIE star Amber Dowding, while Jesy struck up a new romance with musician Harry James Byart. They were seen together on holiday in Greece looking very loved up.
After splitting from the Little Mix songstress Chris confessed his feelings for Amber on an episode of TOWIE, and she clearly felt the same way as she said to him: “It would be nice to be in each other’s lives again.”
Since the two have rekindled their romance they have been posting some sickeningly cute pictures on Instagram and Snapchat.
Amber posted a pic online last week where she is seen kissing her beau, with the sweet caption: “I’m into you.”
Meanwhile Jesy has been getting googly eyed over her new boyfriend, as the pair were seen on holiday together recently.
A source told The Sun: “She looked very happy with Harry – they were completely smitten with each other, giggling and taking photos as they tried on sunglasses.

“They have a lot in common, with Harry also being in the music industry – he’s definitely Jesy’s type.”
But the pair aren’t as public about their romance as Chris and Amber, because Jesy and Harry are yet to post cute selfies together onto their Instagrams. We’ll keep our eyes peeled!
