Britain will be battered by strong winds and heavy rain this weekend, forecasters have predicted.
The Met Office has warned of another washout from Friday morning – and issued alerts advising that 30mm of rain could fall in just a few hours.
The alerts also indicate thunderstorms will return, with a yellow rain weather warning issued for Wales and most of England meaning there will be an increased chance of flooding.
A yellow wind warning has also been put out for Saturday covering Wales, most of the Midlands and the south of England.

The Met Office alert stated: “A band of heavy rain, with the possibility of some very heavy bursts, will move northwards during Thursday night and Friday.”
It continued: “Once the rain has cleared scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop, particularly during Friday.
“Many places will miss these, but where they do occur 10-20mm is possible in one hour, with perhaps 30mm in a few hours.”
Gales on Saturday are expected to exceed 50 mph, likely causing disruption to transport users.

The Met Office said: “Unseasonably strong southwesterly winds are expected to cause some disruption, with gusts over 40mph possible quite widely inland.
“Gusts over 50mph are possible along some coasts of the Bristol Channel, English Channel and through the Strait of Dover.”
However, according to BBC Weather, conditions may become less blustery by the end of the weekend.
A report said: “It looks like being less windy on Sunday, but there is potential for further heavy rain in northern and western areas.”
