Viewers of Good morning Britain are well used to anchor Pier Morgan’s shouty interview style – many actually like it.
But he rubbed many up the wrong way this morning when he became offensive towards a guest.
Daniel Jones, the founder of the Church of Jediism, needled the journalist when he suggested that the existence of Jesus Christ was debatable.
Piers had already been mocking Daniel’s movement, based upon the principles of the Star Wars characters, Jedis.
But the catholic host then turned on the mild-mannered guest and insulted his appearance – pointing out his tattoos and green hair (it’s actually blue).

The Force was most definitely not with Piers where viewers were concerned, as he was variously slammed for being a bully, rude, and obnoxious.
Piers later explained what a furore the interview had caused on Twitter and read out a message from one viewer who wanted him sacked.
Unapologetic, he told people who didn’t like it to watch the BBC, concluding with “hashtag don’t care” [#hashtagdontcare].
