Victoria Beckham has received a huge backlash from fans after posting a picture of her horse with what appeared to be a ‘tattoo’ of a crown emblazoned across its back.
The picture shows her six-year-old daughter Harper riding the pony alongside the caption: “Riding in the sunshine. Kisses from Harper and her prince. #mummytime.”
But fans were quick to note what some referred to as ‘the branding’ on the chestnut-coloured horse’s back.

“I hope that horse hasn’t been branded,” wrote one follower, while another claimed Victoria had caused the animal ‘pain’.
“Did you really brand your horse with a crown? That pain for what?” they wrote.
Another slammed: “It’s a pretty good picture but that crown is cruel. It’s not like a haircut. They use a very hot iron to make this ‘tattoo’ on the horse. It’s very sad.”
Others stuck up for the mum-of-four, hitting back at the trolls and explaining that the crown had simply been shaved into the fur, claiming the horse had clearly received a good ‘pamper’.
“It has been to the groomers and received a pamper. Not a hot metal in sight!” one fan said.
Another agreed, chipping in, “It’s only shaved in…almost all children have this on their ponies.”
One fan even joked: “Guys, this is probably the luckiest horse on earth. Eating organic food and stuff. You know, the good life!”
The fashion designer has not yet responded to any comments, but has clearly been spending some much needed down time with her daughter.
Just last week she shared another picture of Harper painting, and posted a picture of her three boys – Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz – while out to dinner last night.
Husband and doting dad David also joined in on the pamper action – receiving a hair wash from his daughter.
“What are you doing?” he asks Harper in an Instagram stories video.

“Washing daddy’s hair,” she replies before agreeing to give him a head massage, too.
Can little Harper get any cuter?
At Easter she also gave her mum a hand-drawn flamingo card in which she wrote, “You are so pretty and very funny.”
Awwww.
