Usually viewers of ITV get their fill of slightly unusual guests a bit earlier in the day – at 9:25, when Jeremy Kyle starts.
But a segment on This Morning had watchers utterly mystified by the woman joining half-term hosts Ben Shephard and Amanda Holden.
38-year-old Sophie Tanner was invited onto the sofa to discuss her marriage to HERSELF – which she did in 2016 after getting fed up with being single.
But then her circumstances changed when she met a man, Rory, with whom she had a short relationship.
Sophie explained her actions by saying: “Self love is as important as romantic love – it doesn’t mean you’re rejecting all other relationships forever more. If only there was a bit more self love in the world.
“Marrying yourself is a lifelong commitment to ensuring your own happiness.”

However, after Sophie and Rory’s relationship ended, Rory went to Las Vegas and married HIMSELF as well!
Fans were baffled, taking to Twitter to discuss exactly why these people were on air.
One said: “This morning [is] fast becoming the outlet for the wacky weirdos.”
And another suggested that the segment would have been a better fit for Jeremy Kyle than This Morning.
Stand-in hosts Amanda Holden and Ben Shephard also came under fire, with one commentator saying that he’d bet Phillip Schofield wouldn’t have to put up with such sub-par guests.

We have to agree, it was definitely a strange way to spend ten minutes of a morning – but if it makes them happy, we say carry on!
