X Factor viewers have been left horrified by the George Michael tributes on tonight’s show.
The acts have been performing their own versions of the late legendary singer’s hits but fans have slammed the performances for not living up to George’s legacy.
Outraged viewers flocked to social media to hit out at the show.
One viewer wrote: “Rak Su should be arrested for doing that to a George Michael song #xfactor”

Another added: “Such a shame they are all murdering George Michael’s beautiful songs #xfactor”
“What is going on with #xfactor this year? George Michael songs shouldn’t be murdered! Come on Xfactor this is terrible,” tweeted a third.
A fourth said: “The contestants on the #xfactoruk are totally slaughtering George Michael, god I hate our generation.”
Other viewers were furious that George’s songs weren’t used and instead some performers opted to sing songs he had simple covered.

One wrote: “#xfactor So it’s not George Michael songs, like the awesome stuff he wrote. It’s just stuff he’d do in passing or live?”
Another added: “Don’t worry…we’re not just murdering George Michael songs now – we’ll do some that he listened to once in the shower too!”
Fortunately for the contestants, X Factor bosses decided to axe the double elimination at the last minute so only one act will leave tonight rather than two.
