EastEnders fans are convinced they spotted a clue to Kat Slater’s return storyline during last night’s visit to Albert Square.
The episode featured Kat’s cousin, Stacey Fowler arguing with her husband Martin about the future of their children following their split.

The squabbling almost ended in disaster when Stacey’s daughter Lily held baby Hope out of an upstairs window so she could see her mummy.
While tragedy was avoided, Stacey took a phone call from a mysterious stranger.
She told the mystery caller that things with Martin hadn’t gone exactly as she’d hoped they would.
She was then heard saying: “No, I’m not done, I haven’t even started!”
EastEnders’ head honcho, John Yorke, confirmed that Jessie Wallace would be returning as Kat last year, saying she would arrive with Jean and Big Mo to sort Stacey out once and for all.
With Stacey’s marriage in tatters and her children looking like they’ll be involved in a custody battle, there is no better time for the Slater ladies to make their return.
Fans took to social media to speculate that Stacey was chatting to Kat.
“Absolutely hate Martin! Think he’s forgot he’s only got Hope! Lily and Arthur are not his!!! Stacey was clearly on the phone to Kat! She will come back and get the kids from him!!” predicted one Twitterer.
Another agreed, commenting: “That was awful to watch. Martin they need their mum…..oh btw Stacey obviously on the phone to Kat.”
While a third wrote: “Stacey on the phone to Kat methinks.”
Stacey and Martin split following her ill-advised one night stand with her ex, Max Branning on Christmas Eve.
She walked out on Martin, taking the kids with her, when he reacted with fury to her confession.
Stacey returned on Monday, thinking Martin would move out and let her and the kids have the house, but Martin had other plans.
