Cain Dingle played daddy in last night’s episode of Emmerdale, leaving viewers giggling at his nappy-changing antics.
The moody bad-boy took over caring for little Isaac to give frazzled mum Moira a break. And proud gran Faith, and Auntie Chas, were on hand to help.
Despite having three kids, and two grandkids, Cain’s clueless about babies but luckily Faith and Chas were there to give him support (and to laugh at him when he made a mistake, obviously).
First up, Faith provided Cain with what she called a “hands-free kit”, strapping the tot into a sling. Cain looked less than impressed, but Isaac was happy.

Later, though, Cain realised that Adam had been right when he warned that he’d need a whole packet of wipes for the little lad – it was time to change the nappy.
With the baby on the table, Cain got ready – tying a muslin round his face to protect his delicate nose.
With Faith giving ‘helpful’ instructions from the sidelines (“it’s like a wrap and the baby is the filling,” she called) Cain managed to clean the bubba’s bottom.

“One down, ooh a thousand to go,” said Chas. Before gleefully pointing out that Cain had some poo on his head.
Emmerdale fans loved the hilarious scenes.
“Cain in hilarious, dramatic dad mode,” said one. Another called Cain “genius” and another added that “daddy Cain is amazing.”
And we must admit we had a teary moment when Cain told little Kyle that they were going to love his new brother and be the best family for him that they can be.
