Corrie fans heaped praise on young actor Harry Visinoni, who plays tearaway Seb Franklin, after heartbreaking performances in tonight’s episodes.
Seb has been taking care of his younger twin siblings, Lexi and Charlie, while his mum, Abi, has been trying to overcome her drug addiction.
Anna Windass has been helping the family out, despite Abi protesting that she didn’t need help.
Abi turned to drugs again tonight after a visit from social services left her shaken and worried her kids would be taken away from her.
Later Seb and his girlfriend, Faye Windass, walked in to find Abi unconscious on the floor after overdosing on heroin, while the twins were in her care.
Seb broke down next to his mum’s seemingly lifeless body, while Faye called an ambulance. “Please wake up, mum,” he pleaded.
Eventually Abi came round, but not before the ambulance arrived – along with the police – and social services.
After convincing Abi that she needed to get checked over at the hospital, the social worker broke the news that Lexi and Charlie would need to be taken into care.
Seb was distraught, promising that he could take care of the kids, but was told he wouldn’t be able to as he is under 18 and has a criminal record.
He then took his anger out on Anna, wrongly blaming her for calling social services in the first place.
Their truce, which hilariously was misconstrued by Faye as them having an affair, was well and truly over when Seb stormed out of Anna’s house, with Faye following.
Fans were in bits as Seb sobbed over his brother and sister and raged at Anna.
Elsewhere, Phelan revealed that unlucky Vinny was to be the new prisoner in his cellar as he informed Andy Carver that Vinny would be replacing him.
Phelan also told Andy that it was Vinny and not the bad builder himself who was responsible for Andy’s not-dad, Michael (yes, Les Dennis in Corrie really happened, it wasn’t a dream.)
