Rylan Clark-Neal and hubby Dan hosted Friday’s This Morning, but it wasn’t all plain sailing.
Rylan and Dan took over the show from Eamonn and Ruth while Alison Hammond covered Rylan’s usual showbiz segment.
But fans weren’t too impressed with the shake up and took to Twitter to slam Dan’s “awful” presenting skills.

One troll wrote: “Dan Clark Neal is an awful presenter #ThisMorning.”
“Monotone Dan is no presenter #ThisMorning,” another said.
A third tweeted: “Rylan is a great TV presenter but his husband Dan has the charisma of a wet fish…not right for TV #ThisMorning.”
“@thismorning #ThisMorning what is Dan actually being paid to do? Stand there like a plank,” another added.
One user wrote: “Dan is the most boring, monotone, unenthusiastic awkward presenter I’ve ever witnessed #getrid #thismorning.”
“Dan Clark-Neal is so wooden on #ThisMorning, he’s in the wrong job,” another wrote.
Meanwhile others praised the couple for their presenting and some were even suggesting they should replace Eamonn and Ruth.
“Enjoying Rylan and Dan presenting. #ThisMorning,” one said.
Another agreed: “Rylan & Dan presenting together may not be perfect, but they’re so funny. How can you not love them.”
A third wrote: “I am absolutely here for Rylan and his husband Dan presenting #ThisMorning together. Sack Eamonn, this is the purity I need.”
During the show Rylan, 28, hilariously embarrassed his other-half by discussing Dan’s atrocious snoring.
The pair were constantly bickering throughout the segment and then a recording of Dan’s snoring played throughout the studio.
As a red-faced Dan placed his head in his hands Rylan said: “I get tweets daily, ‘you’re so lucky, he’s so handsome’.
“But I don’t sleep!”
He continued: “I work 26 jobs and I can’t even sleep because that is my husband.
“And that’s me being polite, I could have chosen a worse one.
“The noises this man makes is absolutely unbelievable.”
He concluded: “He does this thing, and I have to punch him and roll him over.”
The lunchtime show has been hosted by husband and wife duo Eamonn and Ruth over the summer while regular hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield take some well-deserved time off.
Much-loved presenters Holly and Phil will be returning to the This Morning sofa September 5.
It was reported yesterday that Holly, 36, is set to receive a £200K pay rise to match her presenting partner’s salary.
It’s been suggested previously that Holly was earning £400,000 for her role on the show while Phil was getting a whopping £600K.

It’s believed that TV bosses decided to increase Holly’s salary after realising the duo were receiving the same £200K fee for the skating show but not for This Morning.
A source told the Mirror: “It seemed ridiculous they were going to get paid the same fee for Dancing on Ice but Holly was lagging behind on This Morning.
“Quite rightly, that has now been rectified and they both earn exactly the same.”
