After being caught out by Ken Barlow at the flat together, loved-up Daniel and Carla head over to The Rovers for a drink.
But once there, everyone is left stunned when Carla suddenly collapses – and Peter is convinced his ex is drunk.

But what they don’t realise is that Carla is actually seriously ill – and needs medical treatment immediately.
As everyone speculates, reliable Roy puts everyone straight, revealing the secret about her health that Carla’s kept hidden since Christmas.
At the hospital, Carla’s nearest and dearest gather while she is being treated.
Johnny Connor is clearly fuming that he didn’t know about his daughter’s illness when her sister Kate and best friend Roy both did.
As the family squabble, the doctor who has been treating Carla comes to see them with news.
She then reveals the severity of Carla’s health – telling the family that they need to act fast with the kidney donation if they’re going to save Carla’s life.
Aidan has been revealed to be a match for his half sister – but while he puts on a brave face as the doctor tells him they need to send him for more tests as soon as possible, it’s clear that he’s hiding something.
