Coleen Rooney has reportedly decided to give Wayne a second chance – and they’ll apparently seal the deal by renewing their wedding vows next year.
Well, that’s according to The Sun, anyway, which alleges the Rooneys will mark their ten-year wedding anniversary and put the past behind them by renewing their vows in the Caribbean.
An insider snitched: “To say it’s been a rough ride for both of them in recent months is an understatement.

“But we’ve been told they plan to renew their wedding vows next summer – maybe in Barbados.”
“[Wayne] is just relieved to have another chance.”
Of course, there’s been no word from the Rooneys on whether this is true…
Not that we’re really surprised, given Coleen, 31, and Wayne, 32, have chosen to ignore persistent rumours about the state of their marriage that have been flowing ever since footballer Wayne was caught drink-driving in another woman’s car in September.
Coleen was spied out and about without her wedding ring in the weeks that followed, leading to a wave of speculation their relationship was on the rocks – but she’s maintained a dignified silence on the whole thing.
She did, however, cryptically tweet back in September that people shouldn’t believe everything they read.
Wayne was pulled over by police in the early hours of September 1 while driving a VW Beetle belonging to an office worker named Laura Simpson.
Wayne was banned from driving for two years and also ordered to perform 100 hours of unpaid work as part of a 12-month community order.
He later issued an apology for letting down his family, friends and fans.
It was recently claimed Wayne and Coleen had enjoyed a weekend away together in the Cotsworlds without the kids, in a bid to talk through things and clear the air.
The couple met as teenagers and married in 2008.
They have three sons – Kai, seven, Klay, four, and Kit, one – with another baby on the way next year.
Coleen has kept completely silent on anything to do with Wayne since his arrest, although she has been active on social media posting photos of their children and pregnancy updates.

If the couple do renew their vows next year, it wouldn’t be completely out of the blue, given Coleen has said in the past she’d always liked the idea of marking their ten-year anniversary in that way.
Coleen told OK! magazine the year after they married: “I really like the idea because it’s romantic, I think one year is far too soon because our wedding is still so fresh in our minds.
“I definitely wouldn’t rule it out for Wayne and me, one day, though. Maybe we could do it when we reach our 10th wedding anniversary.”
