Another heatwave is set to hit the UK at the end of the month as a tropical typhoon moves across from Asia.
The Asian super-storm is fast approaching Europe and forecasters predict it will put a stop to the recent wet and windy weather in the UK.
Parts of Asia are currently being hit by the tropical storm.
Forecaster John Hammond said: “If hot weather’s your thing, don’t give up.
“The weather will begin to settle down as high pressure builds from the south, opening the door to drier and warmer (days).”
The warm bout of weather could reach the UK in time for the August bank holiday.

Channel 4 meteorologist Liam Dutton predicts: “Tropical storm Krosa is spinning around over the North West Pacific Ocean. It was previously a typhoon but has now weakened to a strong tropical storm.
“During the next few days, it’ll move over Japan and onwards to the far east of Russia. However, it’ll also bump into the jet stream high up in the atmosphere. This will send a ripple eastwards along the jet stream, like what happens when you flick a skipping rope.”
He continued: “If the jet stream moves north of the UK, it will bring high pressure instead of low pressure. High pressure would bring settled weather for the end of August with some sunshine and a warmer feel than of late.”
This means the summer weather may not be over just yet.

According to the Met Office, the rainy weather is only predicted to continue for the rest of this week. Conditions are expected to then quickly pick up next week as warmer temperatures set in.
Last month’s heatwave saw temperatures soar to highs of 38C in some parts of the county.
