Matt Terry has the dubious honour of being The X Factor winner who didn’t manage a number one single after he won last year’s show.
He somehow lost sales allowing Clean Bandit’s Rockabye to stay at the top spot.
Ah well, he’s not letting it get him down and now, instead of A number one, he’s set his sights on finding THE one instead.
Matt is apparently looking for love and like any true TV star, he’s certainly not going to do it in private.

He’s reportedly signed up to Channel 4’s Celebrity First Dates and will join 15 others looking for love when the new series returns this autumn.
A source told The Sun: “Matt has been single for some time now and would really like to meet someone serious – he’s definitely up for trying his luck on reality TV.
“His mates think it’s a great idea and his family are fully supporting him.”
Matt was spotted at the Paternoster Chop House near London’s St Pauls Cathedral filming scenes for the show last week.
Matt had a classic sob story when he first appeared on X Factor, talking about his split from a long-time love.
Then, there were completely unfounded rumours that he might even have been closer than close with fellow finalist Freddy Parker.
The feverish online speculation came after they appeared to share a quick bromantic kiss live on TV just after the winner’s announcement. But that’s modern kids!
Following the close of the show, the two became flatmates. Matt tweeted: “So me and the little bro @FreddyParker98 just found an awesome apartment! Bring on the man caveeeeeeee (sic).”
But after a couple of months, Matt revealed that Freddy was moving back home to his parents.

He said at the time: “We’ve moved in, I think he might be moving home at some point. He’s doing his writing and he’s a bit far away.
“But at the moment we’re all so busy I don’t get to see anyone. We haven’t had a housewarming yet, just a few friends over for fajitas.”
So that was that then. But there was a new intriguing possible romance between Matt Terry and Spanish singer Ana Mena last month when the two shared a picture of themselves cosying up during a recording session.
Hopefully that track will be a success and not a “hopeless single”…which is how Matt recently described himself.
Celebrity First Dates has a mixed track record.
Previous stars have included Esther Rantzen, Jessica Wright, Scarlett Moffatt and Daniel Brocklebank.
