What a steamy X Factor it was this weekend, as the atmosphere sizzled between wannabe Faye Horne and Simon Cowell, just as if it were written into the show’s script. Erm…
Now, if you reckon that you recognised the 24-year-old’s stunning face, that’ll be because, like so many of the show’s hopefuls, she has X Factor previous.
The singer from Warwickshire first appeared on the show back in 2011, when she tried her luck in front of judges Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland, Tulisa and Louis Walsh.
Still can’t place her?

Back then Faye, who made it as far as Boot Camp, was clad in a bright orange top and sported a heavy peroxide blonde fringe that Claudia Winkleman would be proud of.
But this time round she opted for a classy natural-looking blonde do, which immediately caught Simon’s eye as soon as she strutted into the audition room.

It was clear from the outset that Simon saw something, er, a little special in Faye.
No sooner had she introduced herself to the judges than Simon was on full flirt mode, teasing: “Faye Horny? I thought you said horny.”
Giving as good as she got, a blushing Faye responded: “I bet you did, Simon – Behave yourself! I just want to sing.”
However, when she launched into a stunning rendition of Sam Smith’s Writing’s On The Wall, cute Faye dissolved into fits of giggles.
She apparently felt nervous about being under the watchful eye of the man with the Midas touch.
Cowell was forced to turn away from her as she carried on the song.
Nope, not contrived at all, not one bit.
