For the first time in ten years, The X Factor‘s Sunday night results show has been scrapped.
The results show usually includes performances from a famous act and a tense sing-off between contestants.
Now, however, the Celebrity X Factor hopefuls will find out their fate in an extended Saturday night show.
ITV’s Sunday night slot will instead be filled with Stephen Mulhern’s Catchphrase.
It’s the first time The X Factor hasn’t aired on a Sunday night since 2008.

The news comes after it was reported that Simon Cowell’s talent show was losing the Saturday night ratings war.
The media mogul had been hoping to reignite the county’s love affair with The X Factor by launching a celebrity version.
Good, get this cr*p off our television screens.
However, last Saturday’s show drew in just 3.9m viewers – almost one million down on the previous week’s record-low launch show.
The show – which features Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger on the judging panel alongside Simon – airs its first live episode this weekend.
It kicks off at 8.20pm this Saturday and ends at 10.10pm.

And the likes of Megan McKenna and Vinnie Jones are set to find out their fates during the show.
Viewers seemed to agree with ITV’s decision. One person tweeted: “Good, get this cr*p off our television screens.”
They also commented on the show’s falling ratings and claimed they thought it was because the judges put “novelty acts” through to the lives.
This week, after being booted off during the bootcamp stages, it was revealed that The Chase star Jenny Ryan will return for this weekend’s live shows.
