A 26-year-old British woman has been stabbed to death in Lapland.
The young traveller was working at Santa Safari in Kuttanen, Finland.
She gave guided tours for children to see Santa in his famous grotto.
The Christmas worker died from her injuries following the attack on Saturday.
A manhunt was launched for the suspect, the woman’s 36-year-old boyfriend.
Local police used helicopters and huskies in an attempt to track the man, who had fled into the freezing wilderness.
The assailant, originally from the Czech Republic, was found hiding in woods and suffering from hypothermia.

A spokesman told The Sun: “We are deeply saddened to confirm that a member of the Santa Safari team was discovered dead on December 3.
“We are all in shock from this tragic news and our thoughts go out to her family.
“Our team is working closely with the Finnish police and relevant authorities to support the investigation that is now underway.
“It goes without saying that we will do everything we can to support the family and our staff at this incredibly difficult time.”
An online police report read: “A homicide occurred on Saturday morning.

“A 36-year-old man is suspected of having stabbed to death his 26-year-old girlfriend.
“Both of them were foreign seasonal workers.
“After the deed, the man fled with their dogs,’ the statement continued.
The police also confirmed that the suspect did not resist arrest and he was taken to hospital in nearby Rovaniemi.
Lapland – 150 miles north of the Article Circle region – attracts seasonal workers from across Europe between the months of November and January, as tourists flock to the area to enjoy the magical experience of snow and reindeer during the festive period.
