There are exactly 149 days between now and May 19th 2018, the date set for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding.
So there’s no time to delay in terms of preparation! There’s flowers to order, dresses to create and the small matter of Harry’s stag do to organise.
Harry and Meghan haven’t been wasting any time since officially announcing their engagement at the end of November.
In fact, they’ve already squeezed in an official engagement photoshoot, taken by photographer Alexi Lubomirski.
Kensington Palace tweeted out some of the images today, and they’ve left fans in raptures.

The Royal account said: “Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have chosen to release official photographs to mark their engagement.”
That tweet was then followed up by two images of the happy couple – one in stylish black and white.
Meghan’s huge engagement ring is on prominent display in the shots, with one valuer suggesting it would sell for more than £122,000 – although with its history, it’s priceless.
Sophie Lomax of 77Diamonds.com told The Express: “Prince Harry has chosen a a trilogy ring.
“He is said to have designed the ring and incorporated some of his mother Princess Diana’s diamonds in it, making it a jewel of inestimable value.
“With two round diamonds supporting what looks like a 2.5 carat cushion cut diamond, the stones are set in white gold with the main band of the ring in yellow gold.”
Kensington Palace’s Twitter feed was flooded with messages of support from well-wishers, with one writing: “Gorgeous! You can feel the love!”
Another said: “It doesn’t get better than this. Oh well, the wedding portraits will be magical. Ugh this whole love story gives me goosebumps.”
