Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge will be celebrating the second birthday of their second-born child, Princess Charlotte, tomorrow.
To mark the special occasion, keen photographer Kate has shared a portrait of her daughter that she took herself.
The very natural-looking image features the little girl in a rural setting, with hay bails in the background.
She’s wearing a gorgeous knitted cardigan with sheep on it.
Her hair – now grown into a bob – is clipped back at one side with a regal-looking blue bow slide.
The pretty little royal is undeniably the spitting image of her great-grandmother, our reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, when she was young.
The official Twitter account for Kensignton Palace shared the image earlier today.
They followed it up with a thank-you post after having, seemingly, been inundated with well wishes.
Last year, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge delighted royal fans by sharing photos of their first daughter for her first birthday.
In one of the photos, the little princess is playing with her toys in the garden of the family home, sporting a baby pink dress and cardigan with a matching bow in her hair.

Another of the pictures captured Charlotte gazing into the distance with her big blue eyes.
The photos were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge herself, around the family home Anmer Hall in Norfolk.
“The Duke and Duchess are happy to be able to share these family moments ahead of their daughter’s first birthday,” Kensington Palace tweeted at the time.
“We hope that everyone enjoys these lovely photos as much as we do.”
Hmmm, we think the Palace might need to change the record – or at least come up with a slightly new way of expressing the sentiment.
