Meghan Markle’s long-time friend has revealed what the new Duchess of Sussex told him when he quizzed how to address her post-marriage.
Make-up artist Daniel Martin, who was responsible for Meghan’s wedding day look, has admitted he was a bit confused about how to address Meghan, 36, once she married Prince Harry.
Well, it must be a bit odd when your close pal suddenly becomes royalty!
Former actress Meghan is now known as Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex. And as if that wasn’t enough for pals to wrap their heads around, she’s also Countess of Dumbarton and Baroness of Kilkeel.

Do you call her Her Royal Highness even when you’re just chatting informally? Can you still call her Meghan?!
Well, that was the conundrum facing Daniel while he was doing Meghan’s make-up ahead of her big day.
He told People magazine: “I asked her that. ‘Do I bow to you? I don’t want to disrespect you, but I’ve known you for almost ten years. What’s up?’
“She started laughing and she said, ‘I’m always going to be Meg. Meg.’
“But next time I see them I will be respectful and know my protocol. But Meg is always going to be Meg, that’s how it is!”
Daniel was among the four people in the hotel suite at Clivedon House who helped Meghan get ready for the royal wedding on Saturday.
Also present were Meghan’s hair stylist, dress designer Clare Waight Keller and Meghan’s mum, Doria Ragland.
After the ceremony, Daniel took to Instagram to share a sweet message for Meghan.

He wrote: “My dearest Meghan, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be a part of such a memorable day, not only in your life, but in history.
“It was just like old times playing dress up and I’m looking forward to our next play dates together. Cheers to love my friend!!”
Meghan and Harry, 33, married at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
They made their first public appearance as a married couple on Tuesday, when they attended Prince Charles’ 70th birthday garden party at Buckingham Palace.
The newlyweds delayed honeymoon plans so they could attend the event.
A honeymoon destination has yet to be announced, but many royal commentators have suggested somewhere in Africa is the most likely option, given the couple’s close ties to the continent.
