Although we haven’t quite forgiven them for marrying on a Saturday, meaning we’re robbed of an extra Bank Holiday, we are more than just a little bit excited (read: MAJORLY EXCITED) for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming nuptials on May 19.
And while Save The Dates are probably not necessary when you have the whole country waiting with baited breath, the invitation list certainly is, and now rumours are circulating as to who will make the cut.
Kensington Palace has already revealed that the invitations are ‘gold and black’, and gilded at the edges.
But who who will receive the golden ticket to St George’s Chapel in Windsor?
Previous royal wedding guests have included huge names, such as Elton John and the Beckhams, who attended Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton in 2011 – while megastar Ellie Goulding performed at the reception.

Ellie is thought to be attending her second Royal nuptials, as a guest of Harry and Meghan’s… that’s despite the unsubstantiated rumours of her own romance with the Prince.
Love Island host Caroline Flack, who was also the subject of tabloid gossip about a so-called dalliance with Hazza, is also on the ‘maybe’ list, along with Harry’s long-term ex-girlfriends Cressida Bonas and Chelsy Davy.
Nothing says a wedding like a few exes roaming around, right?
Elton John is an almost certainty, after dropping the biggest hint by cancelling two concerts he was set to perform over the weekend of the wedding itself.
Presenters Natalie Pinkham and Ben Fogle are likely to attend, as well as several British socialites, including former Made In Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh, who is friends with Meghan.
Meghan is also close friends with Serena Williams, and even Baywatch actress Priyanka Chopra could make the cut.
Meghan’s former Suits co-stars are also thought to be prepping their passports to fly over to the UK for the big day.
The bride-to-be’s best friend, actress, IT girl and wedding planner Jessica Mulroney is thought to be Maid of Honour.
Harry could also be set to ruffle a few feathers himself as, although US President Donald Trump is thought to be hankering after a gilded-invitation, Harry is closer to Barack and Michelle Obama, and is said to be more inclined to invite them.
However, sources have claimed that he will not create any diplomatic rows.
Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife are likely to attend.
So what else do we know about the day itself?

After the ceremony at St George’s Chapel, the couple will take a carriage to Windsor Castle, and Prince Charles will host an evening reception at an undisclosed location.
The cake will be lemon and elderflower and the flowers, echoing British springtime, will later be distributed to charities.
What does all of this mean for us? It means our local may have deals on Pimms, that’s what.
