They were blasted for sharing an inspirational quote calling for peace earlier this month, just hours after Meghan Markle had reportedly cut off her father Thomas for good.
Now the Duke and Duchess of Sussex‘s followers have reacted to their lastest quote, which calls for kindness and compassion.
The couple posted their “quote for the week ahead” from spiritual leader the Dalai Lama.
It read: “I believe that at every level of society – familial, tribal, national and international – the key to a happier and more successful world is the growth of compassion.”

The pair’s followers were divided when it came to their thoughts on the quote.
Some praised the couple for spreading “love and kindness” and said: “Thank you for continuing to spread love and kindness.”
Another added: “We need more compassion in this world!”
While a third said: “Love the quotes you are sharing.”
Other added: “Lovely couple for sharing this quote and for making a difference to our society and world.”
However, others urged Meghan to show compassion for her father.

One said: “Have compassion on your dad Meghan!”
Another added: “Does that hold true for your father?”

A third urged the duchess to “start small” and show “compassion for your father/ sister/brother”.
Another said: “Call your father, I’m sure he would appreciate the compassion that you’re talking about.”
Thomas Markle recently revealed that he would love a picture of his grandson Archie, saying he’d like to put it on the wall next to one of Meghan.
