Why Harry and Meghan’s statement is ‘positive’ sign rift with William and Kate ‘could very well end immediately’

Prince William tipped to 'hastily reconcile' with his brother

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave a “positive” sign that their royal family rift may soon be mended after a statement about the Princess of Wales‘ cancer diagnosis.

A video statement by Kate was released last night, with the much-loved royal revealing that, after her abdominal surgery, doctors had discovered that she had cancer.

As a result, Prince Harry and wife Meghan released a short statement. It said: “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace.”

And, while it was short, one expert believes that it’s a sign that the rift between Princes William and Harry and their wives could soon be coming to an end.

Speaking to the Mirror, PR expert Ryan McCormick said that the speed at which the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released their statement is a “positive” sign.

Their feud could very well end immediately.

He also predicted that the “gravity of the situation” could help to “melt away long-held grievances”.

“The speed for which it came out is positive. The gravity of this situation may be so large that it could melt away long-held grievances. Yes, Meghan and Harry have their faults but, family is family. Their feud could very well end immediately,” he said.

Told to keep statement ‘short’

The statement from the Sussexes also appeared to hit back at speculation over Kate’s health, Ryan said. “I think the last part of the Duke and Duchess’ statement was intended to rebuke those spreading false stories and rumours about Kate. It was also a respectful plea to give the family the space they need.”

Ryan said that he thinks Meghan and Harry were most likely told to keep their statement “short”. And, it’s been claimed, that the first time they discovered Kate’s cancer diagnosis was when the video of the Princess of Wales was released.

‘William may hastily reconcile with Harry’

Nonetheless, Ryan now thinks that William will likely be reciprocal of a reunion with Harry and Meghan.

“This devastating news will likely jolt William into reassessing what he truly values most in life. As cancer grips both his father and wife, the Prince of Wales may hastily reconcile with Harry. Yes they have had their differences but, they probably need each other now more than ever,” he said.

Ryan also predicted that William will become “an advocate for cancer victims” in the “coming days and months”.

And, he predicted, that he “wouldn’t be surprised” if brother Harry were to join him.

He said that this “unification” would help to raise “public spirits” amid Kate’s recovery.

ED! has contacted the Sussexes’ reps for comment.

It was previously claimed that Prince Harry wanted to reach out to sister-in-law Kate following the Mother’s Day picture editing furore.

The pair were previously close. In fact, Harry once described Kate as the sister he never had.
