Harry Styles was named the father of the new royal baby in a hilarious blunder on a Spanish news programme.
Spanish entertainment show Cuéntamelo Ya! accidentally told its viewers that the former One Direction singer had welcomed a child with Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.
They were broadcasting Prince Harry and wife Meghan‘s first public appearance with their new baby boy, Archie Harrison.

The news show mistakenly wrote: “Harry Styles y Meghan Markle” alongside the picture of the new royal.
One fan took to Twitter to share a screengrab of the show alongside the caption: “Aww Harry Styles and Megan. (Sic)”
The tweet has since gone viral on the internet with many people poking fun at the news channel.
One person said: “In the span of seconds Harry Styles is married, is a royal and has a newborn.”

Another wrote: “What??? Harry Styles?” while a third tweeted: “Oh my god, I am crying,” followed by a string of laughing face emojis.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex introduced their baby boy to the world in front of cameras inside St George’s Hall at Windsor Castle on Wednesday.
Speaking about her baby son, Meghan said: “He has the sweetest temperament and he’s really calm and been the dream. It’s been a special few days.”
Hours later, the couple announced their baby boy’s name – Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor – alongside a photo of the royal tot meeting his great grandmother the Queen and Prince Philip.
According to the site BabyCentre, the name Archie has English origins and means “genuine” and “bald”, meaning “bold” or “brave”.
Archie is traditionally a shorter version of the name Archibald.
Harrison, meanwhile, is a sweet tribute to the baby’s father. It means “son of Harry”.
On Thursday, new dad Harry jetted off to the Netherlands to launch the one year countdown to the Invictus Games 2020 – and he paid a very sweet tribute to his son.
The new daddy enjoyed a bike ride in the Hague and sported an Invictus Games jacket, which had “I am daddy” stitched onto it.

He was also gifted an adorable white babygro for his son during the launch, which had the words “Invictus Games” printed on it.
During his trip, Harry said Archie has “given him a new focus and goal” in his life and how becoming a father has made him feel the loss of his mother, Princess Diana.
