Meghan Markle enjoyed an afternoon with friends at a posh New York hotel to celebrate her baby shower.
The Duchess of Sussex – who is expecting this spring – flew out to the Big Apple last Friday and met with close pals for the celebrations at the swanky Mark hotel on the Upper East side.
The day was believed to be organised by her close friend and unofficial stylist Jessica Mulroney.
A delivery truck arrived with floral arrangements and decorations that were then carried inside. Meanwhile, security and NYPD gathered outside the hotel to ensure Meghan had a safe entry.
The royal is believed to have enjoyed an afternoon tea with 15 of her closest friends at the special party.
She was also showered with baby gifts for her little one, as guests were seen arriving with bags of presents.
An insider told The Mirror: “Meghan wanted to share her special time with those friends who have been with her through thick and thin. She was desperate for them all to get together and have some girly time away from the guys, so her pals arranged to all meet up in New York.
“They have spoiled her rotten while she has been over. They are all so excited and cannot wait for the baby to arrive.”
Meghan also caught up with friends over dinner during her trip. She looked happy as they headed to Ralph Lauren’s The Polo Bar in Midtown Manhattan following her baby shower.

It comes after Meghan’s husband Prince Harry, 34, recently admitted impending fatherhood has made him more aware of his “responsibility” to the world.
Speaking at a Commonwealth youth discussion in London last month, he said: “As someone who is about to become a father, I am acutely aware of our shared responsibility to make this world more resilient and its inhabitants more accountable for the next generation.
“The only way to see real progress is not by chance, it’s by change.”
